Since 2008, O4O projects have expanded into almost every part of the Kitale region
Initially, we empowered the poorest communities and orphanages by teaching them to grow disease-fighting food that lead to more projects being started in local primary and secondary schools
Leaders from other organizations visited and expressed interest in our approach – in 2011 we opened our training center to conduct one-month training schools and to train leaders from other organizations.
All four local prisons in Kitale have opened their doors to O4O and have started organic gardens. Some prison staff have taken our one-month seminar. We created a special one-month seminar for the prisons and trained inmates who then become trainers to new inmates.
Our target is to empower organizations in the 50 poorest countries of the world to Grow Health
Our mission is to bring sustainable food security to those who need it most.
We focus on the 50 poorest countries in the world where community members live on less than $1/day.
It’s remarkable how far even a small donation of any size can go!
